Sica Atlantique is active in Madagascar through a JV running a subsidiary farm. Beside the oilseeds productions VALAVELONA develops a societal responsibility program that offers to local farmers the possibility to grow food crops for the local market and their own consumption. This farm is considered as teaching farm to introduce mechanical crop management to the Malagasy farmers The aim is to continue this program to reach 1000 ha of production.
